Overview
This position will be physically located in Hawaii in support of LOGCAP
Under the supervision of the Site Manager and/or Task Order Manager, the Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, controlling, and assigning tasks to cross functional operations teams required for implementing common work processes and procedures for multiple international site locations. The Operations Manager must demonstrate exemplary management and leadership capabilities, especially in the areas of collaboration, team building, talent development, fiscal and human resources management, and process improvement. On behalf of the Site Manager, the Operations Manager will also interface directly with the Customer for mission accomplishment and problem

Responsible for the planning, controlling, and assigning tasks to cross functional operations teams required for implementing common work processes and procedures for multiple international site locations
Maintain oversight on program processes to ensure completion of tasking and projects according to contract, corporate and program deadlines
Resolve diverse problems of moderate scope, escalating to senior management as required.
Identify program/contract requirements and oversee the development of appropriate work processes to meet program/contract needs
Monitor assigned operations and integrate all elements of the organization to ensure schedules are maintained within cost and performance standards
Ensure accuracy and completion of team assignments and tasks. Review and approve personnel’s reports verifying content and compliance
Serve as point of contact for multiple sites on program/contract operations and personnel activities, as well as various corporate level compliance issues
Monitor the mobilization and transition of personnel in fulfillment of contract requirements
Oversee teams of U.S. and international personnel performing work as assigned
Provide supervision, guidance, and control for the efficient utilization of personnel assignments and their performance, morale and for the overall welfare of all contract personnel
Act as a point-of-contact for operations in the absence of the Site Manager for matters relating to the contract as representative between personnel, Program Management, and Vectus corporate offices
Ensure compliance with all US and local government reporting requirements.
Currently orders all supplies through current company logistics and has it delivered to residence
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management or equivalent knowledge and experience preferred.
Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Experience:
Five to eight years as a manager in a multi-discipline environment comparable to that offered under this contract.
Preferred background in military installation base support/infrastructure management.
Skills:
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledgeable of how to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language with proficiency.
Requires a collaborative work style, fostering cooperation, and teamwork.
Must exercise discretion and good sound judgment. Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office and/or other related applications.

Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities:
Assists with the Management of assigned personnel as required.
Working Conditions:
Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
Physical Requirements:
Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
