Description of the Role: Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently hiring compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Nurse Aides/Certified Caregivers at our Liliha and Kane'ohe Facilities. This full-time position in the healthcare/medical industry is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Nurse Aide/Certified Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our senior clients, assisting them in maintaining their independence and enhancing their overall well-being. Responsibilities: * Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and toileting, in accordance with client care plans. * Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. * Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional status to the appropriate supervisor. * Promote a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to proper infection control and safety protocols. * Cultivate positive relationships with clients and their families to meet their emotional and social needs. * Maintain accurate and thorough records of client care and complete all necessary documentation in a timely manner. * Participate in ongoing training and educational programs to enhance your skills and knowledge. Requirements: * Active certification as a Nurse Aide or Certified Caregiver in the state of Hawaii. * A minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with seniors. * Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures. * Compassionate, patient, and able to provide physical and emotional support to clients. * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Compensation & Benefits: This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $18 to $25 per hour, paid weekly.
