Essential Job Functions

In this role, you'll work on creating maps, charts, and other visual tools to help with military planning. You’ll use mapping software like ArcGIS and Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC) to create these products. You’ll also collaborate with other government agencies to collect geographic data, update maps, and make sure the data is delivered to the right teams through email or shared platforms like SharePoint. Part of your job is organizing both digital and physical documents, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored according to their classification levels. You’ll also help manage content on classified systems, making sure all planning materials are up-to-date and easily accessible for the team.

You will regularly review and update planning documents and provide summaries to the team every few months. You’ll collect site surveys and planning documents from different units, organize them, and upload updated versions onto government systems.

You will also help with managing and organizing classified documents and perform regular backups of digital files.

You’ll provide support during planning events by helping with maps, imagery, and computer systems, ensuring everything is set up and functional for meetings. You’ll also assist with handling classified materials and mail, making sure they are properly packaged and delivered.
