TEKsystems Clinical Data Analyst in Honolulu, Hawaii

TEKsystems in Hawaii is looking for a Clinical Data Analyst to help one of the local healthcare companies in Hawaii! This role is a hybrid on the island of Oahu. If you are interested, please apply for the position, and one of our associates will call or email you.

Description:

  • Working with teams with clinicians, process improvement specialists, and other data analysts to collaborate around reporting needs.

  • Help with making recommendations to create clinically relevant reports, which will be used to guide data-driven quality improvement initiatives.

  • Help assist, develop, and maintain database systems and reports.

  • Mine data from various electronic data systems, merge data sets to make interpretation clinically meaningful, develop and maintain predictive analytic tools, and dialogue with clinical teams to analyze/interpret data.

  • Interface with Information Technology team members and act as a liaison between clinicians and IT professionals.

  • Work well in a team-orientated environment with a solid commitment to providing the highest quality care to our community.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, epidemiology, statistics, computer science, or related field; or four (4) years experience performing quantitative and analytical work may be substituted for educational requirements, preferably in healthcare.

  • Two (2) years of experience in SQL, reporting tools, and databases.

  • Two (2) years of work experience performing quantitative and analytical type work.

  • Two (2) years experience in healthcare, preferably in an acute care facility. A bachelor’s degree in healthcare may be substituted for this experience.

  • Two (2) years work experience in maintaining and operating databases; spreadsheets, and word processing software, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.

  • Experience in demonstrating utilizing ad hoc report writing tools.

  • Prior experience in performance improvement (quality) and healthcare is preferred.

    The salary range is $70,000 - $90,000. This person selected will be placed according to his/her skills and qualifications.
