Job Summary:

The Business Process Analyst plays a critical role in improving operational efficiency by working closely with project stakeholders to define, refine, and document business and user requirements as Stories. This position involves collaborating with Platform Administrators to ensure that these Stories are developed, tested, and delivered accurately according to specifications.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Key responsibilities include leading business process definition, re-engineering, and improvement efforts during workshops with key sponsors and stakeholders.The analyst identifies areas for process improvement and recommends solutions that outline the pros, cons, and risks.They are also tasked with promoting continuous process improvement practices through the establishment of process metrics/KPIs, dashboards, and defining role accountabilities.

  • Additionally, the Business Process Analyst collaborates with the Technical Consultant and ServiceNow Architect to design the optimal technical implementation strategy and assists in creating High-Level Solution Designs. They work with the Process Owner and Test Manager to establish appropriate tests, ensuring the functionality and integrity of new or modified systems.

  • The role requires the analyst to provide monthly status reports to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)-appointed Technical Assistant (TA), detailing accomplishments, identifying task issues, and highlighting areas that require government action. This position is essential for ensuring that business processes align with organizational goals and adapt effectively to changing project requirements and technologies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active SECRET clearance

  • IAW DoDM 8410.03, must meet intermediate proficiency level.

  • Must possess ONE of the following 8570 IAM-I certifications:

  • CAP (Certified Authorization Professional)

  • Security+ CE

  • CND (Certified Network Defender)

  • Cloud+ GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certification)

  • HCISPP (Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner)

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

  • Experience in working with the Agile board in ServiceNow.

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

  • Advanced technical skills.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).

Posted Salary Range

128000 to 143000
