We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the distribution industry for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Honolulu, Hawaii. The successful Accounts Receivable Clerk candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role will involve dealing with a range of tasks that require a keen eye for detail and a high level of organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient, accurate and timely processing of customer credit applications

• Manage and maintain customer credit records, keeping them updated and accurate

• Handle customer inquiries, resolving any issues or disputes promptly and professionally

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Utilize 'Account Reconciliation' and 'Accounts Receivable (AR)' skills to ensure financial records are balanced

• Use Microsoft Excel for data entry and to maintain records

• Prepare financial statements and post payments as required

• Manage collections and address account discrepancies

• Demonstrate proficiency in 10 Key Data Entry Skills for efficient data processing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role

• Proficiency in account reconciliation

• Strong skills in using Microsoft Excel

• Experience in posting payments and preparing financial statements

• Demonstrated expertise in collections and addressing account discrepancies

• Ability to perform numeric data entry tasks

• Proficiency in using 10-key calculators

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
