Description

We are seeking a focused and meticulous Accounting Clerk to join our team in the IT Software industry, based in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and involves a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and account reconciliation. Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts and action any delinquent payments

• Perform accounts payable and receivable tasks

• Carry out account reconciliation tasks

• Process invoices efficiently

• Use Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Perform data entry tasks related to accounting

• Collaborate with the team to complete departmental projects.

Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk in the IT software industry

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

• Demonstrated skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with billing procedures and data entry tasks

• Capable of accurately processing invoices

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
