Queen's Health System Access Opt Template Analyst - Enterprise Access (Full Time, 40, Day) - Multiple Openings! in Honolulu, Hawaii

RESPONSIBILITIES

I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Focuses on improving patient access, provider scheduling rates, and provider productivity by developing, monitoring, analyzing, and updating EPIC/CARE*Link based provider templates for the ambulatory clinics by incorporating the Enterprise Access guidelines and standards for scheduling templates.

• Works with providers, clinics, and Patient Access Managers, supervisors, and schedulers to identify the most efficient, streamlined appointment scheduling process.

• Provides training on template builders to ensure consistency and adherence to approved scheduling standards.

• Collaborates closely with the Queen’s Access Center

II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Seeing, hearing, speaking, finger dexterity.

• Continuous: sitting, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods.

• Frequent: walking.

III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:

• Associate’s degree in healthcare, business or related field; or two (2) years in ambulatory or patient access, or clinical operations.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

B. EXPERIENCE:

• In addition to the educational requirement, two (2) years experience in any one (1) or a combination of the following areas: ambulatory access, patient access, or clinical operations.

• Two (2) years of Epic/CARE*Link experience preferred.

• Prior experience in working with Epic technologies and workflows preferred.

• Experience to demonstrate:

o Advanced interpersonal skills to lead and experience working collaboratively and effectively with multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams, and with executives, providers, and staff at all levels.

o Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).

o Ability to communicate effectively with administration, management, and staff.

o Knowledge of healthcare operations, organization, and systems.
