Used Car Technician / MechanicHonolulu Buick GMC Cadillac dealership on N Nimitz Hwy

Pay: $30-$35 flat rate

The Used Vehicle Technician is responsible for performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with store and factory standards. The Technician reports to the Service Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.

• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.

• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.

• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.

• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.

• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.

• Complete all required training.

Skills and Qualifications

• Automotive Technical Knowledge – Three to five years’ experience

• Lube and Maintenance Services

• Engine Repair

• Suspension/Steering Repair

• Brake Repair

• Heating and A/C Repair (Optional)

  High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence necessary for select roles.
