DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, your actions will directly and indirectly assist consumers in obtaining emergency housing and achieving their self-sufficiency goals. You will work directly with the Housing Department Coordinator and other administrative individuals, independently, and as part of a team.

Work includes the performance fiscal maintenance and reconciliation of housing related grants including preparation and submission of invoices, fiscal status report, and other fiscal documentation as required. This supports grants including the Emergency Solutions Grant, Continuum of Care, Home4Good, Homeless Assistance Program, Phare, and more! You will also be responsible for the calculation of the match requirement for each applicable grant. This includes ensuring proper entries are made to agency ledgers to accurately record administration and care management time billed to the various grants. Effective organization is essential to meet required reporting deadlines!

For the System of Care (SOC) Grant, you will also prepare and submit monthly and annual reports. This includes preparing entries for the general ledger to appropriately record revenue between the grant and local funds. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Schedule may vary to include irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays. Employee may have overnight travel or out of county travel for meetings or training. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years as a Fiscal Technician and six college credits in accounting; or One year of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or Five years of bookkeeping experience and six college credits in accounting; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.

Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Lackawanna, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, or Wayne counties. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
