Position Type: Full time, Daylight, with Oncall Rotation

Salary: $65,000/year with $160/Week for Oncall Stipend

What to Expect: Devereux/TCV is currently seeking a dedicated and responsible person to fill our Supervisory role for our Partial Hospitalization Program in the Homestead area of Pittsburgh, PA.

This position plays a critical role in fulfilling the mission of our Partial Hospitalization program and of Devereux/TCV Community Services by providing clinical supervision for a team of therapists who offer services to adults with moderate to severe mental health disorders, and for the planning, directing and controlling of the program to ensure the efficient and effective management of resources and operations. In this position, you will be a leader of a multi-disciplinary team working with internal and external stakeholders of the organization in ensuring the delivery of quality services. Using best practices for clinical services, based on principles of recovery and resilience, you will work closely with our Diversion and Acute Stabilization (DAS) program.

At Devereux/TCV, we are looking for a compassionate individual who believes in a strengths-based approach and uses positive practices to help guide their everyday activities. The Partial Clinical Supervisor position is designed to:

• Complete clinical evaluations on each new consumer for partial ensuring that clinical criteria are met in accordance with established standards for quality and completeness.

• Review all referrals for Partial and DAS and make clinical assessments and decisions regarding disposition.

• Assign cases to appropriate therapist and provide individual and group clinical supervision according to standards.

• Co-lead treatment team meetings with psychiatrist and documents according to regulations.

• With the clinical team, design group content and schedules that best address the treatment needs of the consumers.

• Hire, train, coach all therapists and team members including interns.

• Maintain fiscal responsibility for the Partial.

• Conduct individual supervision for staff and maintain notes to ensure the development of skills.

• Approve leave time (vacation, educational, etc.) requested by staff ensuring adequate staffing to ensure hours and services meet licensure.

• Supervise interns and work with referring university faculty members, completing necessary paperwork as required by university.

• Complete performance evaluations for assigned staff.

• Schedule team meetings and provide staff training as needed.

• Maintain a caseload as required and in accordance with State, County and Federal regulations.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions as scheduled.

• Participate in on-call for 24-hour coverage for Partial/DAS referrals.

• Complete all documentation and required paperwork. Secure consumer signatures and dates on all required documents.

• Ensure that clinical staff provide medical necessity documentation upon admission and through the utilization review process so they can secure authorizations from managed care companies for continued stay reviews.

• Ensure program compliance with regulations, working with the Department Director to meet standards and address corrective actions as directed

Qualifications

To qualify, we require:

• Master’s degree in clinical social work or counseling required.

• Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.

• Related experience in an acute care setting with an adult population with mental illness and previous supervisory experience preferred.

• Valid PA Driver's License preferred.

• State Criminal, Child Abuse and FBI clearances required.

• Pre-employment drug screening, physical and TB test required.
