Fortive Corporation Manufacturing Engineer (Weekend Shift) in Hollister, California

PacSci EMC is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our weekend shift team. This role will be a key member of our engineering team.

  • Responsible for performing production readiness assessments.

  • Readiness will be assessed by evaluating alignment between manufacturing/design documentation and customer/contract requirements.

  • Deliverables will be a formal readiness/compliance report for each contract as well as an overall project status reports.

  • Additional activities may include execution of actions required to address the compliance gaps identified in the assessment (i.e.: Updating Engineering Documentation, submitting Request for Variances with the customer, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • SolidWorks/AutoCAD experience required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills required.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

  • Experience in Compliance Matrix generation in the Aerospace defense industry preferred.

  • Relentless eye for detail.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

  • B.S. Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related Engineering Discipline

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 63,000.00 - 117,000.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
