Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a GM Director of Distribution in Hollister, California. This role involves leading and managing warehouse operations within the logistics and manufacturing industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, implementing standard operating procedures, and developing key performance indicators.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall warehouse operations encompassing inventory management, order processing, and shipping & receiving.

• Establish and implement Standard Operating Procedures to enhance efficiency in warehouse operations and customer satisfaction levels.

• Develop, monitor, and evaluate Key Performance Indicators to ensure operational goals are achieved and facilitate improvements.

• Ensure the proper maintenance and regular servicing of facility equipment.

• Lead, train, and manage the warehouse staff, including supervisors, team leads, and general warehouse employees.

• Plan and manage staffing levels and schedules to meet operational needs and forecast peak season and overtime needs.

• Ensure the warehouse operates in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety training, and perform safety audits while maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation.

• Develop and manage the warehouse budget, including labor costs, equipment maintenance, and other operational expenses.

• Monitor financial performance, analyze cost data, and implement cost-saving measures as needed.

• Utilize various skills such as CRM, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, KPI Reporting, Logistics, and Manufacturing.

Requirements • Proven experience in a GM or Director role within a distribution environment.

• Proficiency in 3M, CRM, Eaton, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and ERP Solutions.

• Familiarity with About Time software.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Experience in KPI Reporting.

• Knowledge of logistics in a manufacturing context.

• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to implement strategic plans and meet business objectives.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
