Landscape Laborers - 4 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 4/1/2025-11/1/2025.

Employer: Christopher C Miller, DBA Land Escape's Landscaping, 11459 Blanchard Road, Holland NY 14080.

Duties: Landscaping and maintaining grounds and property using hand and power tools and equipment, including skid steers. Mow and maintain existing landscaping, planting, sod laying, seeding, fertilizing, watering, digging, raking, mulch/stone installation, sprinkler installation, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units and brick pavers. Sweep walkways of debris, and pull weeds. The workers will also perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment used in groundskeeping. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Travel to project locations within Erie, Cattaraugus and Wyoming counties from designated pick up location: 11459 Blanchard Road, Holland, NY 14080.

Voluntary housing arrangements may be provided, upon availability, along with corresponding deduction of $84.00/week (utilities included).

No education required. Two months experience required.

Work days: Mon-Fri, 7am-3:30pm, 40 hours/week at $19.80/hour. OT at $29.70/hour. Saturday work required, when necessary. Hours and schedule may fluctuate due to weather conditions or business needs. Overtime hours will vary.

A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly on Friday. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. Employer may make voluntary deductions at worker's request.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.88/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
