Koops Inc Controls Engineer in Holland, Michigan

Duties include: Analyzes equipment specifications and performance requirements to develop designs which can be manufactured. Confers with Engineering/Design and Manufacturing teams to develop equipment designs. Produces electrical layout and detail drawings/schematics in computer-aided-design software. Develops bill of materials for electrical systems. Programs PLCs (Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, Siemens, AutomationDirect, Mitsubishi, Omron, Toshiba, etc.) using HMI or SCADA programming and configuration of any of the following software packages: Rockwell, GE Cimplicity, lconics, Siemens, Maple, Beijer, etc. Simulates and tests controls design. Compiles and analyzes data to establish performance standards. Ensures that manufacturing, installation, and operation conform to functional specifications and customer requirements. Produces documents required for operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations and provides customer with product controls documentation.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
