Job Overview
We are currently looking for a B2C eCommerce Associate Product PortfolioManager to join our team.
As a B2C eCommerce Associate Product PortfolioManager, you will:
Supports efforts of B2C eCommerce Merchandising Lead in assuring successful strategy development, research, design, engineering, production, introduction, marketing, and sale of profitable, quality products across a portfolio. Contributes to continuous review and analysis of product portfolio, assuring continued overall profitable growth and market position.
Some of the responsibilities of this role include (but not limited to):
Assists with establishing strategies, research initiatives, product priorities, and design attributes (functional and aesthetics) to support private labeled products; provides continuous reevaluation of portfolio.
Identifies, analyzes, and prioritizes market and customer needs to support portfolio development and maximize financial performance across organization.
Translates market needs into product strategy and product definition to achieve portfolio goals.
Analyzes competitive products on continuous basis to ensure proper portfolio positioning.
Determines proper market introduction schedules, with ultimate goal of having right products at right time in market to maximize market share and profitability.
Assists with defining short- and long-term product plans to maximize efficiency, in conjunction with all functional departments; coordinates resources of all functional departments in planning and developing products from concept to introduction to phase out.
Recommends Marketing Communications strategy and requirements to support product line.
Researches, vets, onboards, and manages new and long-term supplier partnerships, negotiating business terms, contracts, cost, and lead time to increase efficiencies in margin, speed, and quality.
Do you have these required qualifications?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing or equivalent.
Five years Product Line Management or related business experience (i.e., Finance, Marketing, Sales, or Engineering),
Including experience in manufacturing or product development.
