Stevens Institute of Technology Research Assistant-hourly in Hoboken, New Jersey

Job Description
Provides support for funded research projects. Education: Bachelors Degree.
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented student candidates with strong analytical and research skills to assist in conducting a literature review on the integration of software architecture and software performance analysis. Ideal candidates should possess excellent academic standing in software engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in utilizing digital libraries and a keen ability to discern relevant academic literature are essential. The expected tasks include: 1. Retrieve Papers from Digital Libraries: Focus on papers published between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2023. Record detailed information for each retrieved paper. 2. Skimming Reading and Paper Selection: For each retained paper, skim through the Abstract, Introduction, and Conclusion sections, applying the Exclusion criteria to refine the selection further. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage their time efficiently, and collaborate effectively to ensure the successful completion of the literature review.
