Job Title: Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Starting Location: Hobbs, NM (will travel to other locations)

Pay: $30-40/hr. plus per diem.

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday-Saturday, 7:00AM-5:00PM

Duties:

• Responsible for the diagnosis, repair, reconditioning, overhaul and maintenance of heavy equipment and/or components.

• Will be working with CAT and Komatsu equipment.

• Heavy work that includes carrying, lifting and/or moving objects up to 100 pounds or more

• Prepares accurate and complete service reports and turns them in on time

• Coordinates with Service Writer, Shop Coordinators, and Managers

• Follows safety practices and keeps work area clean

• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in heavy equipment, engine, or electric power generation system repair.

• Must own tools.

• Experience with hydraulics, electrical, engine and transmission gear.

• Must be able to travel to Hobbs, NM.
