LTD Manufacturing Integration Mission Statement: We engineer world-class yields on D1 processes by driving defects and inline performance parameters to Best In Class (BIC) targets.

Responsible include, but are not limited to:

  • Reading scientific research enabling manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures.

  • Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process.

  • Participate in development of intellectual property.

  • Operate manufacturing line in order to integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.

  • Institute ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing via the Copy Exactly Methodology.

  • Fab and E-test parameter trending, process control, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) including identifying opportunities and action plans.

  • Yield Cliff and/or Product Performance Indicator definition and summarization.

  • Drive process and product performance variation tightening using a deep level understanding of scribe structure layout and test to contribute debug activities.

  • Derive and drive process targeting solutions to optimize product performance and yield.

  • Quality Event Form QEF and Disposition/material review board (XRB) response with modules and manufacturing.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Material Science and Engineering. Must have the required degree or expect the required degree by September 2022.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in the following areas (more than one is preferred):

  • Semiconductor and transistor device physics.

  • Advanced transistor device structures and architectures including fabrication (e.g. lithography, etch, film deposition, cleans, chemical-mechanical planarization etc.) with in-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and process integration.

  • Data analysis skills with demonstrated ability to construct clear data-based problem statements.

  • Semiconductor processing fundamentals (lithography, wet etch, dry etch, chemical and or mechanical polishing, etc.).

  • Design of experiments.

  • Materials and physical device characterization (SEM, TEM, etc.) and fundamentals of semiconductor device testing.

  • Statistical, data analysis (MATLAB, Excel, JMP, etc.).

  • Process control systems, methodologies, sources of variability and statistics.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
