Energy Reduction Engineer - Water The Energy Reduction Water Engineer is responsible for the implementation of energy reduction projects across multiple sites related to water systems such as deionized water, city water, and industrial waste water. The ideal candidate will have experience with implementing multiple water reduction projects within a large semiconductor facility. In this role you\'ll have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of teams and have a major impact on Qorvo\'s success by implementing energy reduction projects throughout the company. In this role you\'ll have the opportunity to travel to multiple sites and help teams implement energy reduction projects to meet Qorvo\'s sustainability goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee projects related to water and energy reduction Come up with new ways to save water and energy by optimizing building systems Interface with fab tool owners to find ways to reduce water usage Validate energy savings and track in database Research new equipment and assess risks for new technology related to building systems Troubleshooting issues related to the building automation system and other building related issues Improve reliability and efficiency of Facilities systems such as reverse osmosis, water pumps, water treatment, acid and caustic treatment, water filtration, and other water related equipment. Identify and support cost savings/energy savings projects. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering 8+ Years of Facilities Engineering experience managing high purity water systems Experience with implementing multiple energy reduction projects Ability to travel to sites to implement projects and audits Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once Ability to work with people that have varied levels of technical background Preferred Qualifications: Self-Starter with strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Previous exposure to industrial design, maintenance/operation of facility systems and basic project management experience Experience with semiconductor wafer fabrication sites Experience editing drawings using AutoCAD 2018 or Revit Work Location: Preferred location: Richardson, TX.; Additional locations: Hillsboro, OR, Greensboro, NC, Apopka, FL This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
