Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Set up and run mill. Inspect first run product and make adjustments working with Quality Control as necessary. Inspect parts during manufacturing and maintain consistent quality. Make fixtures and clamps for jobs as needed. Machine parts and compare to blueprints to ensure accuracy. Perform secondary operations (tap, deburr, etc.). Privately held and family-owned, this company has operated in custom manufacturing in the Pacific Northwest for almost 40 years. Working with a variety of industries including semiconductor, electronics, optical, and energy. Capabilities include precision machining, sheet metal, finishing, quality management, assembly, and CAD/CAM design.

Hard Skills

  • 3+ years of machining experience with CNC mills or lathes

  • Experience doing set ups (1-4 set ups a day)

  • Minor edits on machine using Fanuc Controls

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 18 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in HILLSBORO, Oregon.

Work Environment

Air conditioned machine shop
