ManpowerGroup Data Center Technical Operations Engineer I in Hilliard, Ohio

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer I to join their team. As a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer I, you will be part of the Facility Department supporting various teams within the data center environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • Job Title: Data Center Technical Operations Engineer I

  • Location: Hilliard, OH

  • Contract Duration: 6 Months – potential to extend and/or convert

  • Schedule: Onsite; 40 hours per week

  • Pay Rate: $32.38/hour on W2

What’s the Job?

  • Manage on-site shift technicians, senior shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with established procedures.

  • Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on critical facility operations and maintenance.

  • Coordinate with IT managers and business leaders to manage projects, capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.

  • Operate and manage routine and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, and building monitoring systems.

  • Assist in the design and construction of new facilities and projects to improve current facility efficiency.

What’s Needed?

  • Computer proficiency, MS Office

  • Team-oriented attitude

  • Data center experience: 0-2 years

  • Electrical and mechanical experience: 1+ years
