Position Title: Prevention Sexual Abuse Manager

Salary: $60,800.00

Position Summary

The Prevention Sexual Abuse Manager is responsible for managing implementation and ongoing compliance with the IFR on preventing, detecting, and responding to sexual abuse and sexual harassment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Prevention Sexual Abuse Manager will perform duties including, but not limited to:

  • Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.

  • Ensure that all processes and policies are adhered to ensure sexual abuse and sexual harassment concerns are addressed as per policy and contractual compliance obligations.

  • The Prevention Sexual Abuse Manager oversees compliance with the Interim Final Rule (IFR) and related policies and procedures.

  • Provide training and consultation to staff and assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance / quality improvement plans; utilization reviews; licensing standards; accreditation; certification requirements and contract compliance.

  • Provide feedback to managers and supervisors to address the quality and appropriateness of services and promotes opportunities to improve service delivery.

  • Identify gaps in service, deficiencies, barriers, and strengths in the design and implementation of services.

  • The Prevention Sexual Abuse Manager Collect and compile data for reports regarding agency's quality advancement & improvement activities and performance including analysis of data and trends reflected over time.

  • Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives including administrative and clinical review of medical records, utilization management, outcome measurement, and generating statistical and narrative reports as requested.

  • Assist staff with access and utilization of the agency’ electronic health record and other local/state data systems as needed.

  • Act as an agency liaison with external contractors, accreditation agencies, and certification/licensing bodies.

  • Work with the agency’s Director of Continuous Quality Improvement to implement and evaluate the agency CQI Plan.

  • Maintain the agencies compliance with HIPAA responsibilities and records management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services or social service fields or business administration or management.

  • At least one year experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, quality assurance or compliance.

  • Knowledge of contracts, certifications, accreditations, and regulatory standards and rules.

  • Experience in technical writing, QA/QI related computer software, Management Information Systems, and analysis.

  • Bilingual English/Spanish fluency.

  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, internet search, people management programs, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

OTHER SKILLS

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Works well independently and as a team member.

  • Openness to travel as required.
