ManpowerGroup Machine Operator in Highland, New York

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Highland, NY

Pay Range: Starting at $17.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-12:30am

What's the Job?

  • Operate a variety of machines in the factory including sheet metal punching and forming, drilling, tapping, cutting, bending, and sanding.

  • Interface with other departments to accomplish tasks efficiently.

  • Communicate professionally with team members and supervisors.

  • Maintain a clean work area as required to ensure safety and efficiency.

  • Perform computer transactions accurately in compliance with company policies and procedures.

What's Needed?

  • Preferably machine shop experience and familiarity with manufacturing and power tools.

  • Metal fabrication experience is a plus.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
