Teksystems has a client in the Hickory, NC area that needs to add a Network Engineer to their team. The opening is slated as a direct placement with the client. The role is also a hybrid role and requires someone to be on-site 3 days a week.

Their team is in the process of building out architecture and the ideal future state will be for this role to do 80% new architecture and engineering and 20% break-fix. There is an on call rotation for the team. Some upcoming projects include: moving equipment in data centers to more modern technology, spine leaf architecture, VX LAN implementation, and building out a disaster recovery plan for their data centers.

The client is looking for the candidate to have experience in the following areas:

Cisco Nexus

Palo Alto

SD-WAN

Would prefer someone to have their CCNP.
