Job Summary
Test Technician - Final is responsible for mechanical and electrical testing of materials, devices, and products as well as maintaining general test equipment.
Essential Functions
Tests products or sub-assemblies according to drawings or work instructions
Uses software to stress test servers
Configures and modifies computer hardware and software daily
Diagnose and repair failures within a computer system in a prompt manner
Effectively communicate with multiple departments throughout the company
Engineering – To ensure accuracy of drawing and update as necessary.
Sales – To work around deadlines and communicate order updates.
Production – Order replacement parts or rework damaged ones.
Sets up test software and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures and standards
Complete and maintain all required documentation and records accurately and in a timely manner.
Prioritize daily workload
Develop and implement process improvements as needed.
Conforms with ESD policy, FOD Control, safety practices and ISO procedures.
Accountable for producing results that exceed quality goals and increases customer satisfaction
Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed
Basic Qualification
Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)
High school degree or equivalent required
Associates degree in an electronics, technology, or related field preferred
Three years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- includes physical requirements
Ability to build a computer is preferred
Walks, stands, occasional seated position at the computer
Must be a able to manipulate small objects and visually scrutinize hardware
Ability to lift 10-40lbs over head on occasion
May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
