Responsibilities

A machine operator is responsible for efficiently running machinery in a production environment. Key duties include setting up and calibrating machines, monitoring operations, and performing routine maintenance. They ensure products meet quality standards by inspecting output and making necessary adjustments. Machine operators also troubleshoot issues, conduct minor repairs, and maintain accurate production records. Adhering to safety protocols is crucial, as is collaborating with team members to ensure smooth production processes. They may also be involved in training less experienced operators and suggesting improvements for greater efficiency and quality.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
