Job Location: Hershey, PA This role can sit 100% remote * Summary:* The Senior Analyst, Enterprise PPM Tools will play a crucial role for Hershey and the Enterprise PPM Tools Team by defining and executing the Clarity/Rally product vision and strategy, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with stakeholders and the development team to deliver high-quality Clarity/Rally products that meet user needs and business goals. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and effective communication skills to drive Clarity/Rally product success and maximize the Return on investment. The Senior Analyst will facilitate and effectively understand the user needs and development team capacity to determine the prioritization of a backlog of new features and maintenance. The Senior Analyst, Enterprise PPM Tools will help create a global Clarity PPM & Rally user community keeping end-users up to date on new features, releases, and upcoming improvements. * Major Duties/Responsibilities:* / Product Vision and Backlog Management:/ * Product Vision: Define and articulate a clear Clarity/Rally product vision that aligns with the company’s strategic goals. * Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a Clarity/Rally product roadmap that outlines the product's evolution and key milestones. * Product Backlog: Develop and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized based on business value and updated regularly. * User Stories: Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria and break down complex features into manageable tasks. * Key Product Capabilities: Include Resource Management, AIR, Project Management Capabilities, Reporting Metrics & Features. / Stakeholder Collaboration and Product Delivery:/ * Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, gather and analyze feedback, and manage expectations regarding product features and timelines. * Sprint Planning: Participate in sprint planning sessions to ensure the development team understands user stories and their priorities. * Stand-Ups: Attend stand-ups to provide clarifications, address questions, and resolve blockers. * Stakeholder Training & Education: Key Product Capabilities. / Release Management:/ * Plan and coordinate product releases, prepare release notes, and communicate updates to stakeholders and users. / Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:/ * Acceptance Testing: Oversee user acceptance testing to ensure features meet the defined acceptance criteria. * Bug Tracking & Resolution: Identify, consult, prioritize, and track bugs and issues, ensuring they are addressed promptly. * Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and contribute to continuous improvement practices within the team, based on user feedback, market analysis, and performance data. * Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:* * Analytical Thinking - Ability to analyze data, feedback, and market trends to make informed product decisions. * Decision-Making - Capable of making strategic decisions that balance user needs and business goals. * Collaboration - Effective in working with cross-functional teams, including development and various business units. * User-Centric Approach - Focus on creating products that deliver value and a positive user experience. * Adaptability - Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and stakeholder needs. * Strong communication skills - Effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. * Proficient in Product Delivery Tools, MS Office Suite, and SharePoint and Microsoft Teams environments. * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: * / Education:/ * Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent work experience. / Experience: / * 5+ years of experience as a product owner, product manager, or similar role * 5+ years of experience with Clarity PPM required * 2+ years of experience with Rally preferred * Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. * Proven ability to prioritize and manage product backlogs. * Experience in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria. * Understanding of agile methodologies and software development life cycles. * Technical knowledge related to the product domain #LI-SM1 The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
