SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible to perform high level analysis and standard statistical reports in support of department and institution-wide clinical activities, assuming first line responsibility for care management data analysis. Facilitate the development and maintenance of data collection, leveraging existing data to measure utilization and value. Gathers information, trends data, and prepares reports, schedules, and graphs to assist with the planning and measurement of operations.
The Utilization Management Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for conducting in-depth clinical data mining, analyzing utilization management data, and providing actionable insights that inform leadership decisions to help improve patient outcomes, controlling healthcare costs, and optimizing resource utilization across healthcare services. This position requires a strong background in healthcare data analysis, a deep understanding of healthcare clinical operations, and the ability to translate complex clinical data into meaningful actional information including detailed clinical reports that support strategic decision-making and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven solutions are aligned with organizational goals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Bachelor's Degree required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- Three (3) years job related experience including data entry and data analysis preferred.
