SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Life Lion Supervisor Flight Paramedic is responsible for assessing and implementing care for critically ill patients and serve as the senior expert in clinical decision making involving the treatment/transport of critically ill patients. The Supervisor Flight Paramedic is responsible for assisting with the management of daily operations associated with the Life Lion Critical Care Transport Team. The Supervisor Flight Paramedic will provide direct supervision over the Life Lion Critical Care Transport Paramedics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Bachelor Degree in a health-related field with five (5) years of experience as a Critical Care Paramedic. Four (4) years of qualified management experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

  • FP-C certification

  • Previous supervisory or workflow coordination experience

  • Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification within the Commonwealth of PA or Pre-Hospital Health Professional credential

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP

  • International Trauma Life Support or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Certification

  • EVOC

  • Valid PA state Driver’s license

  • NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800
