Our client, a leader in metals testing, is seeking a Chemist I for their Harrisburg, PA location, offering a pay rate of $20/hr. The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in a related field, laboratory analysis experience, and familiarity with ICP, OE, ICPMS, WDXRF. Industry experience as an intern is also acceptable.

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday

Pay: $20/hr

Responsibilities:

• Perform all functions of a Laboratory Technician

• Strong background in analytical chemistry and its applications

• Ability to work independently

• Participate in training other laboratory personnel

• Engage in ongoing training (both in-house and external)

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience

• Preferred experience in ICP, OE, ICPMS, WDXRF

• Familiarity with all phases of laboratory analysis

• Ability to apply complex analytical methods

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Experience in developing new methods

• Ability to train and provide guidance to Chemist I personnel
