Job Overview

We are recruiting for a Business Development Sales Manager to support Crushing products in the North America Mining Distribution and Service group. The Business Development Sales Manager is responsible for the promotion, sales and support of products offered to obtain maximum revenue, profitability, and market share in the Western US. A key aspect of the responsibility is building long-term customer relationships through a detailed understanding of the customer’s business and driving the business model to align with the customer’s needs.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain new and existing business to expand product sales throughout the Western US.

  • Analyze active and potential customer operations / opportunities to establish a sales strategy.

  • Work with the Crushing business unit to develop crushing solutions when required. This requires the ability to understand the features and benefits of our crushing products and also requires an understanding of competitive offerings.

  • Develop sales and support opportunities for Crushing Products to maintain and improve market share

  • Sustain and Grow revenue for crushing products

  • Being a Subject Matter Expert and work closely with regional and account managers, Product managers and factory

  • Full understanding of Crushing products: Reclaim Feeders, Feeder Breakers and Sizers

  • General understanding of engineering and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.

  • General understanding of rock mechanics such as compressive strength, specific gravity etc.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A 4-year technical degree and Used Equipment Broker experience preferred

  • Proven 7 – 10 years in a sales role

  • Mining or heavy industry experience

  • Material handling experience is a plus.

  • Fluent in MS Office products

  • Must have excellent computer, data analysis, customer relations, and communication
