ManTech Executive Director, Business Development - Intel in Herndon, Virginia

This individual will support ManTech at our Corporate Headquarters in Herndon, VA

Role Summary

As an Executive Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding ManTech’s footprint in the Intel Community (IC). Lead business development efforts within the IC related to ManTech core competencies: Enterprise and Mission Information Technology, Cyber, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure, and Analytics. You will work closely with the Vice President of Growth within the Intel Sector and the Vice President/Division Manager for National Intelligence Solutions to develop an executable Market Account Plan that focuses on identifying, qualifying, and winning new business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build and qualify a pipeline of opportunities aligned with ManTech’s core competencies

  • Develop and implement Customer Engagement Plans for both agencies at large and on an opportunity-by-opportunity basis to engage clients in identifying and shaping opportunities

  • Develop strategies/actions to shape business efforts as well as gaining competitive intelligence/business intelligence on both competitors and clients

  • Present briefings to leadership that include business case/value proposition to support investments (dollars, resources) towards Capture and Bid decisions

  • Drive company branding activities congruent with business opportunities including: White papers, technology demonstrations, RFI responses and participation in Industry groups to gain insight to near/far-term customer & mission needs

  • Identify technology/staffing gaps and vet teaming partners that help raise opportunity probability of win. Maintain business relationships with Industry Partners to facilitate teaming and knowledge management.

  • Support and successfully perform against yearly company and individual goals.

  • Work with Capture teams to develop win strategies, perform strategy reviews and competitive assessments

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of ManTech’s capabilities, technology, and business objectives, and work closely with operations partners to provide solutions to our clients

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years direct experience within the Intelligence Community focused on Virginia based Intel Community Agencies

  • 5 years relevant Business Development experience or equivalent experience supporting Virginia based Agencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute strategies that lead to the successful pursuit, capture and execution of new programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact at senior levels of business and the government

  • TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph preferred

Clearance Requirements:

  • US Citizen

  • Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situation
