Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Capture Executive to join our team in Herndon, VA or on a hybrid basis.

Summary

ManTech is seeking a seasoned professional that understands the full capture lifecycle and has been successful in various customer domains within the Federal section. Intimate knowledge, experience and access to key organizations is essential. This position will work closely with the appropriate ManTech business programs and leaders to provide strategic direction and leadership; develop comprehensive and compelling solutions; support qualification of new business opportunities; develop creative and innovative capture strategies; and lead the preparation of winning proposals for our government clients.

Reporting to senior leadership within the Strategic Pursuits Group, this highly visible position will work with the most senior leaders across ManTech to develop a winning strategy and drive business growth on the corporation’s largest, most strategic opportunities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Perform market analysis, strategic business planning, and capture strategy/solution development, leading to award of major programs

· Oversee customer contact and positioning, teaming interactions, and coordination with other internal business development, solution architecture and sales resources available across ManTech

· Drive customer relationship management and opportunity tracking, spanning a variety of contract types including cost plus fixed fee, fixed price, award fee, and performance-based contracting

· Manage pursuits within the lifecycle of the AAS/FEDSIM pipeline to formulate, plan and deliver solutions to large, complex, corporate “must-win” opportunities.

· Work across the Growth organization to create and execute a winning business development strategy leveraging all corporate assets

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience in Business Development, Capture Management and/or Solution development for new work in areas such as Federal/Civil, Department of Defense and Intelligence Agencies. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered, particularly with military service.

· Experience supporting multiple (>$250M) AAS/FEDSIM large business prime submissions within the last five years.

· Demonstrated ability to lead/execute disciplined capture efforts for large and/or complex captures focused on key areas including but not limited to, Enterprise IT; Systems Engineering and Software Development; Managed Services; Data Center, Cloud and Cloud Migration; IT Infrastructure; Data Transport and Systems Integration; Application Development and Modernization; Big Data and Data Analytics; Cyber Threats, Cyber Security and Advanced Technologies.

· Experience with the Shipley Business Acquisition Process

Preferred Qualifications:

· Solid understanding of market trends and translate customer and competitive intelligence into compelling capture strategies and solutions.

· Understanding of large business pipeline gate processes

· Ability to leverage deep understanding of customer’s needs and objectives in key focus areas including but not limited to, Enterprise IT; Systems Engineering and Software Development; Managed Services; Data Center, Cloud and Cloud Migration; IT Infrastructure; Data Transport and Systems Integration; Application Development and Modernization; Big Data and Data Analytics; Cyber Threats, Cyber Security and Advanced Technologies.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

· Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

· Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

· Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations

· Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
