System One Database Developer in Herdon, Virginia

ALTA IT has a Contract to Hire position open for a Database Developer.

100% REMOTE

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain A Public Trust is required

Our client is looking for a Database Developer to work offsite in a telework capacity. This is a technical hands-on position with an Agile Scrum team that requires a broad scope of skills.

Must have experience:

  • SQL Stored Procedures, Views, Functions SQL Server Reporting Services, Extract, Transform and Load (ETLs)

  • Table Creation/Modification Analyzing customer needs and developing overall concept and design objectives

    Preferred experience:

  • SQL Server Performance Tuning

  • Integration and troubleshooting system and communication issues .NET (C# preferred)

  • Knowledge of the latest application development best practices and technologies Excellent communication skills

  • Good organizational skills

  • Positive track record working with the VA is a big plus

  • US Citizenship Ability to obtain a Public Trust

  • Bachelor's (in Computer Science or related field) with 5 years of experience or 8 additional years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree for a total of 13 years of experience w/High School diploma
