Bank of Eastern Oregon is now hiring for a full-time Loan Processor. This position will be located in Heppner, OR with a schedule of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Persons in this position will perform moderately complex clerical duties related to commercial and consumer loans; will process loan documents, set up loan files, process loan payments & payoffs insuring funds are applied appropriately, interact with customers via phone & email regarding various loan questions/inquiries, verify titles, may pay & maintain property tax records and process DMV title transfers and insurance tracking, and conduct maintenance on loan accounts as needed. Provide prompt, courteous, and friendly service with highest level of confidentiality. This position typically requires a minimum of 1 or more years of clerical experience with a working knowledge of bank services. Need to have ability to learn basic lending laws & practices associated with processing loans. Proficient in use of computers & programs and solid organizational skills are a must.
