Job Summary:
The Packaging Operation Training Coordinator will be expected to consistently seek to improve processes to ensure they are best practice and absorbed easily by employees. Theyll be expected to standardize training methods, employees development and assist with decreasing non-conformances to company procedures and policies. They will assist with investigation of NCRs and outcomes to identify any additional training needs or process improvements. The role will focus on monitoring training and its administration. Ensure training is delivered consistently and standardized across all shifts and teams.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Responsible for maintaining training documents for all employees in PKG, SSP, QIC and Inbound SS. This may include:
oManaging training matrix to keep department documentation current.
oScanning of training records and/or interfacing with our Quality management System (eQMS) to ensure compliant documentation control.
oWorking with shift Supervisors to coordinate training as needed. - Capture individual and team training needs to support continuous employee development.
- Responsible for review of new procedures and changes to existing, including new build equipment documentations identify appropriate training needed for success.
- Assists with the continuous improvement of document control and provide ideas, as the subject matter expert, for areas of improvement within the training process
- Regularly monitors the progress of the team member in training to identify any additional needs to assure a smooth transition with maximum productivity.
- Provides feedback to supervisor on the performance and progress of the team member through the training curriculum.
- Responsible to assist with NCR investigations and any review or retraining as needed to SOPs and WIs
- Participates in validations of new equipment to ensure SOPs and WIs are documented correctly.
- Responsible to maintain and update training reports to include Tableau.
- Ensure compliance to the Quality System, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO 9000, and all Standard Operating Procedures
- Responsible to train each team member what conforming and non-conforming product is.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong, applicable knowledge of the business
- Detailed orientated with excellent numerical, verbal and literacy skills
- Microsoft Office Suite skills/knowledge/experience or equivalent training required.
- Ability to follow basic procedural and regulatory requirements.
- Quality to include ability to identify conforming and non-conforming product and materials.
- Understand PKG, SSP, QIC and Inbound SS software to include Redzone, GPSII, Agile, Tableau, JDA and BAAN
- Strong communication skills, verbal, written and comprehension of the English language.
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills required for this fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Prioritizing as business dictates
- Skilled at coaching and developing others for growth and success.
- Able to quickly learn relevant SOPs, WIs and regulatory requirements as well as the consequences to the business of not following them.
Work Environment:
- Normal manufacturing and office environment with regular exposure to heat and cold
- Available and flexible to work all shifts as required.
- May be required to travel as needed to other sites.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of training experience required.
- 1-3 years working in a fast- paced Operations environment required.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trust, credibility, and collaboration in alignment with company values.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to include ability to choose and use words appropriately, being approachable, supportive, encouraging and partners with others at all levels of responsibility or departments.
Education:
- High school Diploma or GED required.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $47, 632 and $58, 011 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
