We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the logistics industry. The position is based in Henderson, Nevada, and involves maintaining financial procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the company's financial strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries

• Conduct monthly reconciliation of balance sheet, bank and credit card accounts

• Complete month-end close responsibilities within timeline

• Assist with budget preparations and financial planning processes

• Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies

• Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies, and current accounting standards

• Monitor financial transactions and reports

• Implement systematic and organized recordkeeping for easy tracking and retrieval

  Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• A minimum of one year of experience in a Staff Accountant role

• Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations

• Experience with General Ledger maintenance

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries accurately

• Experience in Month End Close processes

• Skill in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Understanding of GAAP Accounting principles

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
