Position Summary

As aCall Center Representative,with our local practice team, you will assist in building the nations preeminent eye care services by partnering with world class physicians and medical office professionals.

No weekends:

Monday to Friday work schedule

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Answers phones promptly and courteously
  • Addresses patients concerns.
  • Schedules patients with the correct physician and correct location to ensure top quality care to our patient.
  • Schedules, reschedules, and cancels appointments as necessary.
  • Accurately entering or updating all demographics and insurance information.
  • Effectively triage scheduling calls to ensure appropriate scheduling.
  • Transfer calls requesting financial information, prescription refills, or surgery information to proper avenues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

  • 1-year experience in customer service and call center environment preferred
  • Strong data entry and telephone skills.
  • Organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Punctual and dependable

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee should frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
