Ervin Cable Sr Quality Assurance Manager in Henderson, Kentucky

Our Sr Quality Assurance Manager oversees and manages the quality assurance department. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality standards, procedures, and initiatives to ensure the reliability and excellence standards meets company and client standards of telecom products and services. Responsibilities include conducting audits, inspections, and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement. The Sr QA Manager collaborates closely with various teams to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous quality improvement.

In order to perform this job, you must demonstrate, either by training or experience:

  • Oversight of OSP audits to evaluate quality of work is meeting standards

  • Interpretation of specifications and action to establish a process to meet customer needs

  • Constant collection of audits to analyze and determine quality of work

  • Assurance of quality by setting standards to repair gigs within a given time period

  • Verification that all processes are conforming to establish quality standards and required customer specifications

  • Investigations and remediation of customer complaints in conjunction with the PM and local field team

  • Document and implement inspection criteria and procedures

  • Assist and implement quality control training at field offices

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees and supervisors of an assigned area, department, or project(s).

  • Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

  • Develop processes to ensure completion of tasks in support of an assigned area, department, or project(s).

  • Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area, department, or project(s).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience.

  • Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.

  • Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.
