Moltus Building Group is a General Contractor headquartered in Hemlock, MI that works throughout the state of Michigan and the United States . We are a growing company and are currently looking for self-motivated individuals to join our team as a Lead Commercial Carpenter.

The Full Time position of a Lead Commercial Carpenter at Moltus Building Group will entail a broad range of carpentry skills including, but not limited to:

· General understanding of ALL facets of Commercial Construction beyond just Commercial Carpentry.

· Removal and Installation of Commercial doors, frames, and hardware including diagnosis and troubleshooting of door hardware.

· Layout and framing of wood and metal stud wall systems.

· Installation of commercial cabinetry.

· Fabrication and installation of Plastic Laminate countertops.

· Installation of Millwork including, but not limited to, wood doors, casing, chair rail, baseboards, crown moldings, etc.

· Installation of commercial bathroom partitions and accessories

· Drywall finishing and hanging

· Forming and placement of concrete flatwork.

· Acoustical ceiling installation and reworking of.

· Operation of machinery including, but not limited to: Skid steer loader, scissor lift, articulating boom lift, rough terrain fork trucks.

Position Requirements:

· The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also in a team environment.

· Ability to lead and supervise a small crew of Moltus team members.

· The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional high standard of safety and quality with attention to detail.

· Minimum of 5 years commercial construction experience required.

· Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

· Must be willing to travel throughout the state of Michigan and US, when necessary.

· Strong commitment to safety.

· High standard of professionalism and quality workmanship.

· Must have valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

· Must be able to lift heavy construction materials.

· Effective communication and time management skills.

· The ability to safely operate a wide range of power tools.

Expected hours: 40 -- 60 per week
