The role.
The Technical Proposal Specialist works to support the Innomotics LLC Medium Voltage Drive Customer Service team and our customers. The ideal candidate will provide technical proposals for our Customer Service Portfolio. This role will report to the New Kensington, PA Sales Support Manager and will be a vital part of supporting the Innomotics sales teams and our customers.
Prepares Technical Proposals for Customer Service Portfolio Products including Time & Material Services, Upgrades, Parts, Etc.
Resolves Specific Scope BOM and support hours for onsite service proposals
Prepares cost calculations for Service Proposals
Meets proposal related deadlines
Supports Internal and External Sales Team with Proposal related requests
Supports Customer Service Advocate Team with Service Order related requests
Reviews Purchase Orders and provide support to the order controlling team
Supports Business Development team on new customer offerings
Partners with various technical resources within Innomotics, customers, and vendors
Your profile.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
BS in Engineering
Proficiency working in an Engineering support role
Understanding of Commercial aspects of proposal writing
Validated customer support experience
Customer focused with the ability to adapt/respond to different customer needs
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and time management in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
<10% travel based on customer requested meetings and support
Excellent digital literacy, with a strong emphasis on SAP, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement and strong operational focus
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:
2+ years field service engineering
2+ service years sales quote development
2+ years electrical engineering
Variable frequency drives experience
Teamcenter experience
The pay range for this position is $63,700 - $109,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
