Westaff is seeking a Help Desk Technician for a local business in Helena, MT! Schedule: 8:30am - 5:30pmTerm: 3 months+, permanent position for good fitPay: $18-$21/hour Duties:Answering calls and covering dispatch on occasionAssist walk-in clients as neededTier 1 technical supportPC and Mac repairNOC BackupMonitoring and basic support of disaster recovery solutionsMonitor the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, respond accordingly through service ticketsMonitor patching alerts/processesSystem documentation maintenance and reviewCommunication with clients as required; keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes, and agreed outages Qualifications:Understanding of operating systems (windows and Mac, business applications, print8ing systems, and network systemsUnderstanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting internet connectivityUnderstanding of the relationship between switches, hubs, patch panels and connecting nodes to a networkWorking knowledge of wireless technologiesTelephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-careTechnical diagnostic skillsability to multi-task and adapt quicklyAbility to match resources to technical issue appropriatelyService awareness of all organization's key services for which support is being providedUnderstanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide servicesTyping skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request detailsSelf-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment Benefits:Weekly pay!Benefits offeredFREE online skills training available Don’t miss this opportunity, apply TODAY!Military & Veterans encouraged to apply
