CVG Airport Authority Specialist, Supply Chain - 2nd Shift in Hebron, Kentucky

CLASS SUMMARY:Responsible for performing a variety of shipping, receiving, inspection, warehouse and distribution activities for the Kenton County Airport Board; enters related data into the enterprise asset management system (EAMS), completes and maintains appropriate forms, records, reports and other documentation to ensure accurate accounting of Board property. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:This class specification represents only the core areas of responsibilities; specific position assignments will vary depending on the needs of the department.Maintains the integrity of all the warehouse locations. Conducts inventory cycle counts and min/max reports.Issues items to appropriate personnel from stock and relieves inventory count in inventory system.Transfer stock to designated location using a loader, forklift or manually; or, effects delivery to correct department.Schedules and completes deliveries of supplies/inventory to other KCAB departments.Aids Procurement and Finance personnel in reconciliation of receiver/invoice discrepancies.Interfaces with supplier delivery personnel. Inspects, counts and verifies products to be received. Matches items to be received to open orders and enters data into KCAB’s inventory system. Generates and maintains receiver files for items received.Initiates returns to supplier of items received in error or damaged. Contacts buyer to secure return authorization. Generates return material authorization in EAMS. Contacts delivery service and effects shipment per authorized instructions.Ensures SDS information is included on all chemicals stocked in the Central Warehouse prior to distribution to various departments.Schedules and completes deliveries of supplies/inventory to other KCAB departments.Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or GED and two years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS: Forklift Driver Certification.Valid Driver’s License.Maintains Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance.KNOWLEDGE OF:Basic inventory control procedures.Inventory control softwareSKILL IN:Clearly and effectively communicating, and advocating, both orally and in writing;Use of a variety of computer-based technologies including word processing, and spreadsheets;Establishing and maintaining effective, fair, cooperative, collaborative and respectful relationships with internal and external colleagues, peers, work teams and workgroups.ADA AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Positions in this class typically require: Climbing, balancing, stooping, pushing, lifting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
