The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Test Equipment Engineering Manager (Level K) located in Heath, OH. This position will focus on leading the Heath Test Equipment engineering team across multiple programs and site workloads.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diversified engineering team responsible for execution across multiple government contracts at the Boeing Heath facility (disciplines include electrical, electronic, mechanical and process engineering)

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manage, develop and motivate employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 5+ years of experience in performance of calibration and troubleshooting, and repair of Measurement and Test Equipment including Automated Test Equipment (ATE) stations

  • 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining automated and semi-automated test equipment

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing a multi-disciplinary engineering project or team of 5 or more people

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Prior defense contracting and/or product technical engineering support experience is highly desired.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $117,300 - $158,700
