The F-15/T-7/T-45 Estimating & Pricing team is seeking a Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist to join the estimating team in Hazelwood, MO .

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of estimates (labor, material, Other Direct Cost (ODC) and cost/price proposals for new business activities. This assignment may support Boeing Space and Security (BDS) or Boeing Global Services (BGS) proposal teams and a variety of internal and external customers.

This Mid-Level Estimating and Pricing specialist would primarily support F-15 material estimates for the BDS business unit. Our BDS support includes completing estimates for production U.S Government contracts and Foreign Military Sales customers. There could also be an opportunity to cross train and support labor and material estimating tasks for both the T-7 and T-45 Programs, both of which have complex proposal and execution challenges. The selected individual will support proposal development, customer negotiation, and contract settlement processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Participate in evaluation of requests for proposal

  • Develop basis of estimates to support proposal and technical requirements

  • Perform analyses in support of pricing and estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

  • Coordinate and collaborate with proposal teams and cost element functional owners to develop appropriate basis of estimate and substantiation of costs estimates, proposals and other related business decision data

  • Identify, assess and implement changes to processes, tools and techniques to simplify estimating and pricing methodologies and improve cost estimating accuracy

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)

  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Working knowledge of Untied States Government (USG) Cost Accounting Standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations

  • Experience building proposals utilizing pricing systems, estimating & pricing tools and processes

  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable working in a highly dynamic and diverse team environment with the ability to work across business units, functions and tailor communication to all skill levels within the organization

  • Ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment and be highly responsive to the needs generated by the day-to-day activities of management and the organization

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $84,150 – $113,850
