DuPont is immediately hiring an experienced Senior Administrative Services Coordinator at our Carlsbad, CA location.

Key essential duties include:

  • Implement and follow policies, procedures, and protocols related to administrative services

  • Oversee and manage facilities contractors, ensuring timely and accurate completion of their tasks

  • Coordinate and manage office operations, such as mail distribution, facilities management, and procurement and restocking of supplies/tools throughout the site.

  • Organize and coordinate meetings and events.

  • Serve as focal point for contract administration practices. Manage paperwork associated with variances and exemptions according to DuPont and site practices.

  • Serve as procurement focal point for the site, assisting requisitioners with resolution of procurement and payment related issued with centralized group off-site.

  • Manage hard-copy document archiving process.

  • Management of site rewards and recognition programs.

  • Manage external communications to outside parties, particularly with CARE (Connect, Appreciate, Respect, Empower); Liase with community partners on a variety of activities.

  • Manage small capital projects related to facilities.

  • Support quality management and document management systems as back-up and at times primary point of contact.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative coordination or assistance

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communicative skills, both written and verbal through multiple electronic tools (email, instant chat, text, etc).

  • Strong decision-making abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web based applications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Demonstrated flexibility in working on routine tasks as well as project related work

  • Able to lift/carry up to 20 lbs.
