Job Title: HVAC Technician Foreman

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician with over 5 years of experience in servicing and maintaining HVAC units. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and experience in troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain commercial HVAC units.

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on HVAC equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems.

• Use hand tools such as multimeters, screwdrivers, pliers, tape measures, pipe wrenches, cordless drills, hammers, and wrenches.

• Work with a variety of HVAC systems including chillers, condensers, split systems, roof top units, central units, and window units.

• Conduct testing and repair of equipment as necessary, including motors and units.

• Install and repair HVAC systems following blueprints and installation guidelines.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC work.

• Proficiency in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems.

• Experience with chillers, condensers, split systems, rooftop units, and central or window units.

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks such as changing filters and belts.

• Knowledge of refrigeration and boiler systems.

• EPA certification.

• Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good personality and ability to fit in with the crew.

• Previous experience with piping, sheet metal, fabrication, installation, and service.

• Proactive attitude and desire to make a career in HVAC service.

Work Environment

This position involves commercial service work in Westchester and NYC. You will work alongside our HVAC technicians, foremen, and service managers in a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Will drive to shop in Westchester and get in company van with Lead Tech for a probationary period. Will receive company van after probationary period to take home if applicable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
