AVIONICS PCBA TECHNICIAN (FALCON) – MULTIPLE SHIFTS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate PCB assembly machines to manufacture circuit boards, including but not limited to:
SMT placement, reflow, and solder print
Conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating
Component kitting and measurement
Functional and In-circuit testing
Optical and x-ray inspection
Thermal chambers
Routine inspection and maintenance of equipment
Read, interpret, and work from drawings and controlled documentation and processes
Record work performed using shop floor management system (ERP)
Inspect PCBAs for defects
Maintain tooling and consumable supply inventory
Follow work instructions and suggest improvements
Document non-conformances and associated rework and quickly return non-conforming product back into normal workflow
Assist with the development of production processes for first-time production runs
Assist with area efficiency improvement projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
2+ years of experience using automated machinery in a production environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience working in PCB assembly
Experience with SMT equipment
Experience with thermal testing
Soldering proficiency including IPC or JSTD certification
Experience preferred in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
Able to adapt to constant changing work assignments and fast paced work environment
Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy
Current or past certification for NASA-STD-8739.3, IPC-610 or equivalent
Proficient with computers, the ability to use MS Office, shop floor management software (ERP), and related programs
Strong understanding of technical documentation, engineering drawings, and schematics
Excellent communication and organizational skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work the following shifts:
Monday to Friday, 3:00AM – 1:30PM
Monday to Friday, 3:00PM – 1:30AM
Thursday to Sunday, 3:00AM – 3:00PM
Thursday to Sunday, 3:00PM – 3:00AM
Must be willing to work overtime, and/or weekends as needed
Must be able to lift up to of 25 lbs. unassisted
Must be able to stand for extended periods – 8 hours min
Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
PCBA Technician/Level 1: $22.00 - $24.50/hour
PCBA Technician/Level 2: $24.00 - $29.00/hour
PCBA Technician/Level 3: $27.50 - $35.00/hour
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
