Brick & Brew Head Chef in Havertown, Pennsylvania
The Regions Best Gastropub is Searching for a talented Chef to join our team. Responsibilities & Deliverables:
- Oversight of all kitchen functions.
- Ensure all staff members adhere to culinary standards, regulations, and Brick & Brew policies and procedures.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns personally.
- Design new & original menu choices based on seasonal ingredients collaborate with the team on standard and specials menus.
- Day to day staffing & scheduling.
- Daily vendor management.
- Daily inventory management.
- Quarterly budgeting in conjunction with GM
- Collaborate with home office/analytics team
- Work with FOH to ensure successful day-to-day operations; Including daily management meetings.
Skills & Preferred Requirements:
- 5+ years' culinary experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Strong leadership skills/ability to work in a group environment and independently
- Experience preparing gastropub / global cuisine
- Knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff and implementing kitchen procedures
- High level of creativity and reliability.
- Flexible schedule required
- Familiarity with menu costing procedures
- Serve Safe certified
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
